The host of this experience is Andi and his sister who are passionate about sharing their culture, history, and traditions through food. They have a deep love and appreciation for traditional Albanian cuisine and have honed their skills and recipes through generations of family traditions. They take pride in using fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients in their dishes, and they are excited to share their knowledge and expertise with visitors who are interested in learning about Albanian culture through its food.
Itinerary
12:45 pm: Gather behind the Opera House in the city center.
Kick-off with a hearty Albanian welcome, filled with local eats and drinks.
Dive into preparing "Tave Kosi," Albania's famed Independence Dish.
Learn to make "Lakror," our take on Byrek, including homemade pastry.
Experience a family-based cooking class, with recipes passed down through generations.
Enjoy fresh organic ingredients, from garden herbs to homemade wine and Raki.
Sit down for a three-course meal, and get the detailed recipes to recreate these dishes at home.
5:00 pm: Wrap up and say our goodbyes, after 4 hours of culinary adventure.
