Discover the wonders of Rio de Janeiro, the Wonderful City, on this 3-day weekend adventure. The weekend will be busy, so we'll make the most of it. We will visit the most iconic attractions of the city as well as experience a variety of authentic experiences in the company of a real Rio native, Thiago.
Kickstart your journey with a warm welcome at Selina's Bar, where you'll craft your own Caipirinha, the iconic Brazilian cocktail. Join us for an informal get-together as the sun sets, setting the tone for an unforgettable trip.
On the first day, we'll explore the breathtaking Pão de Açúcar beach, capturing moments in photographs that will last a lifetime. Choose to hike or not, and then venture up the iconic Pão de Açúcar for panoramic views that will leave you in awe. Take a moment at Mureta da Urca, where you'll marvel at the beauty below. Indulge in a traditional feijoada lunch accompanied by a refreshing caipirinha. Stroll the famous Copacabana Sidewalk, relax on Ipanema Beach, and witness a mesmerizing sunset from Arpoador, just like a local. The night takes us to the vibrant Pedra do Sal, where the rhythm of Rio comes alive. This is where the Samba was Invented by the enslaved, because tghey couldn't speak they invente the most iconic music of our country.
Begin day 3 with to the awe-inspiring Cristo Redentor. Let the beauty of this iconic statue take your breath away. Explore the charming Santa Teresa neighborhood, visit Getulio's Atelier, and savor a delightful lunch at Churrascaria Palace, the best stake house in town (not included). Marvel at the grandeur of Arcos da Lapa and the colorful Selaron Steps. Engage in a friendly Frescobol game on Copacabana beach, where the sport was invented and later, join our Girl From Ipanema Bar Crawl for an unforgettable night out.
We're off to Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas for on Day 4, an enchanting morning of exploration, whether by cycling or boat paddling (not included). Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the traditional Bar Lagoa, followed by a visit to Farm Rio and a stroll through the Ipanema Hippie Market. Relish in a traditional Rio snack on the beach as you watch the sun set on Ipanema, again, just like a local. As the day winds down, collect your bags and head to the airport, filled with memories and experiences that will stay with you forever.

Hi everyone, it's me Thiago, I will be joining you in this adventure! Usually, I say I’m not only a Brazilian, but a Carioca (people who come from Rio de Janeiro). This statement emphasizes the free spirit I have, a vital feature of who was born and raised in the Wonderful City, as Rio is known. Joining me on this trip, you’ll understand where my passion comes from and why that place is so meaningful to everyone that has been there.

08 am: Transfer to Pão de Açúcar beach
08:30-09:00 am: Pictures of the beach and around
09:00-10:00 am: Pão de Açucar hike (around 30 min - moderate) *option not to hike
10:00-11:30: Visit to Pão de Açúcar
11:30: Short stop at the charming Mureta da Urca for the incredible views
12:30-2:30 pm: Welcome lunch (feijoada) + 1 caipirinha
2:30-3 pm: Walk in the famous Copacabana Sidewalk
3 pm: Quick free time at the hotel
4-6:30 pm: Beach time in Ipanema and watch the sunset from Arpoador
8 pm: Van leaves for quick dinner (not included)
9:30: Van leaves for Pedra do Sal (first beer round on us)

Additional Information: Flight information: Do not purchase flights until experience is confirmed! The recommended outbound flight is GOL Linhas Aéreas G31917 at 11 am on Oct 19th (FLN-GIG) arriving in Rio 12:30 pm. And the recommended outbound flight is GOL Linhas Aéreas G31920 at 9:20 pm on Oct 22nd (GIG-FLN) arriving at 11pm in Florianópolis. Transfers must be arranged privately if you choose another flight schedule for your outbound.
