A true local experience that isn’t something you’d find on your own. Educational, scenic and delicious.
A must do excursion if you like oysters. You’ll end up in food coma but it will be so worth it!
I loved learning about the oyster farming industry and tasting some amazing oysters!
This event was amazing! We learned all about the fascinating oyster farming industry (with our fearless leader Val translating everything for us!). The oyster sorting and categorization is amazing to watch. A few brave souls ate fresh oysters on the farm! Then we headed back for an AMAZING oyster sequence lunch. I'm not a huge fan of oysters but I wanted to try them all to see if one suited me. Turns out I love cooked oysters with cheese! We had oysters prepared 10 different ways and all were delicious! The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and we just got to sit back, enjoy the view and spend time together. I highly recommend this experience and Santo Antonio de Lisboa is delightful!
This was a highly raved experience from the first group that went, so much that 2 more groups were organized for this experience with a few people going more than once. Was fascinating to see the whole production line and how its built to be sustainable. Santo Antonio de Lisboa is also beautiful especially from our vantage point in the floating oyster shack.
The food and sparkling wine after was really tasty. I enjoyed the variety of ways the oysters were prepared.
