Don't let the bike ride deter you.

The Khayelitsha Bike tour is a must do! Don't let the bike ride deter you. I hadn't ridden in years and my muscle memory kicked in. Plus the ride is at an easy pace. The history is amazing plus it's a great contrast to where we were staying.

Ayanda and Buntu's passions shine through it all

It is really rare that you will have the opportunity to see another person's reality of life firsthand. It is even more rare that you are invited in and educated on the challenges that face those communities.

I cannot over-express how powerful an experience like this is, though it feels simple. Understand the advantages that you have been afforded. Identify with someone who has lived a vastly different life than you have. Challenge yourself and connect.
