Adventurous and fun, but perhaps a bit too long and expensive

While this was a great trip to bond with others, and we went to really cool and beautiful places, I felt that it was 1 day too long. Our tour guide, Des, was amazing and very caring. There are alternative versions through airbnb experiences that are 2-3 days, and half the price that others in our group did. If you are on a budget, and thinking about where to spend your money this month, I would suggest doing the Kruger safari and looking for a shorter, more affordable Garden Route trip if you are keen to do this trip (bungee + kayak/hike were my personal highlights for this trip).

It was an exceptional experience.

It was an exceptional experience. The bungee jump from the highest bungee bridge in the world was crazy fun. Wine tasting, kayaking, route 62, and the safari were also super fun memorable experiences. I highly recommend it.

A weekend not to be missed!

A weekend not to be missed! Blaine was incredible and he truly made the weekend feel like you were taking a trip with a group of friends instead of a group + tour guide. The weekend is well-curated and gives a good glimpse into what a long weekend for South Africans may be like. Don’t think about it, just book it!

I feel that I got to see a hidden South Africa

This is a must! Blaine and his team make sure that every second of the side trip is special and memorable. Even the bathroom/snack stops along the road were fascinating, delicious and entertaining (don't even let me get started on the stops of the final day!). This side trip mixes adventure, reflection and amazing food (we'd joke that each day we'd get a part of us exhausted in a good way - either mentally, physically or spiritually). In many moments it felt like I was traveling only with friends and that Blaine was part of our group instead of our guide (hope someday he'll be!). I feel that I got to see a hidden South Africa, with gems only known by specially interested locals. This was indispensable to really get in touch with the story of this region. As Bill mentioned in his review below (above? I don't know where mine will be placed) feel free to send me a message if you want to chat about Garden Route! I bet I can convince you to join it.
