Description

Join Eva, an authentic Valencian artisan, at the Craft Center of the Valencian Community for a magical silk painting workshop. Discover the ancient technique of painting on silk as Eva shares stories and teaches you the art form in a fun and playful manner. At the end of the workshop, you'll have a stunning 55x55cm handkerchief, which you can wear or frame as a unique work of art. Embrace sustainability and choose from three Valencia-inspired designs, all materials included.

Eva is an authentic Valencian artisan who specializes in textile techniques. With her expertise and passion for silk painting, she will guide you through the process, ensuring a memorable and educational experience. Eva's knowledge of Valencia's artistic heritage and commitment to sustainable practices make her the perfect host for this workshop.

Itinerary 

11.00AM Introduction to silk painting techniques and materials 
Learn drawing techniques and transfer the design onto silk
Paint and add vibrant colors to your silk masterpiece 
1.00PM End of the experience
At the end of the experience Eva will take care of the fixing, washing, and ironing of the silk piece so that it is ready to be delivered to you!

Ground Transportation: Eva's workshop is located in the old town, the best way to get there is walking, although you can always take a cab.
Additional Information: The silk scarf takes about 48 hours to dry, so keep in mind that you will receive it after that time, ready to be used!

A beautiful (and therapeutic 😌) creative experience

A fun and very unique way to spend the morning doing something different and creatively stimulating. Eva was so kind and knowledgable, sharing so many lovely stories on her craft and passion. The final product (and lifelong souvenir) is something I'll forever cherish!

Lovely time silk painting

This was a lovely and creative activity. The silk painting process felt similar to watercolor painting and it was a wonderful way to spend the morning. We also went to the nearby silk road building which was beautiful too.
