The Rabbit Lake Hiking experience in Shengjergj, Albania offers an exciting opportunity for adventure and stunning natural beauty. Participants will hike along the pastoral mountainside before reaching Liqeni I Lepurit “Rabbit Lake”. With an elevation gain of 600 meters and a maximum elevation of 1,200 meters, this hike is ideal for a light to moderate day of activity with stunning views. Along the way, hikers will witness breathtaking views of the Dajt region mountains and surrounding peaks.

Ardit and his trusty hiking partner Luna “a dog” will be guiding you along this beautiful day up into the mountains. As avid hikers and explorers of the Albanian countryside Ardit and Luna have years of experience exploring and discovering all that Albania has to offer. Ardit and Luna are dedicated to providing visitors with an authentic and enjoyable hiking adventure with great conversation along the way. Luna is known for providing an abundance of unconditional love and support throughout all and any adventures.
Itinerary
The experience starts with a pick-up behind the Opera House in the city center at 7:00 AM.
The group will then head towards Shengjergj in the Dajt Mountains, East of Tirana - 1 hour away.
We will grab a coffee and breakfast on the way to Shengjergj before starting our hike.
The hike is 2.5 hours to the lake.
The experience also includes free time for a picnic and exploring around Rabbit Lake.
We will descend back down to Shengjergj and return to Tirana by 6:00 PM.

Extra Cash: Some cash in hand is recommended for breakfast and coffee on the way to Shengjergj Village.
