Join Olodum Sul at their new location in Jardim Atlantico to help with final touches like building a fence and gardening around the premises. Meet local activists who provide cultural experiences to vulnerable black children and teenagers through the Olodum School. Enjoy a musical activity with the program's children and teenagers, and bring 1 kg of food as a donation to support the cause.

Meet Our Local Host
Olodum Sul is a branch of the Bloco Afro Olodum, one of the most important institutions of Afro-Brazilian black culture. The Olodum School provides a space for the participation and expression of the Afro-descendant community and is a national and international reference for innovation in art, education, and cultural plurality.
Itinerary
9 AM: Meet-up at Olodum Sul School - Rua Gualberto Senna, 400
9:30 AM: Breakfast at school
10 AM: A tour of the school guided by Marcos Canetta, the Olodum Sul director
10:30 AM: Hands-on activity
11:30 AM: artistic performance with activists, teachers, and the kids
12:30 AM: Experience ends
