Join us in this tropical adventure filled with culture and warm weather. Panama has always been in the center of history, since pre hispanic times, through the arrival of Cristobal Colon, the Spaniard Empire, the Anglo-Spanish War & Pirates tales to the recent days and economic boom that the Canal de Panama brought to the region and the Americas. You’ll get the opportunity to visit the “Old and New'' City, sail in crystal clear waters and learn from the Embera community.

Meet Our Local Host
Mayra discovered Panama a few years ago and completely fell in love with the city, country and its costumes. Her passion for this part of the world pushed her to leave everything behind and since then she has been doing every effort to show the best of Panama to both tourists and friends. With a degree in Commerce & Logistics, love for nature and people she has committed to make sure everyone takes a little bit of Panama in their hearts
Itinerary
Day 1
Afternoon: Check in at your accommodation and enjoy free time to explore the city or participate in an optional city bike tour. Check in is any time after 3pm.
Evening: Meet the group and enjoy a welcome drink at 7pm.
Day 2
Morning: Enjoy an international breakfast at your accommodation before embarking on a Panama City Tour & Canal excursion starting at 7:30am.
Afternoon: After a typical lunch in the city, spend the afternoon exploring or relaxing by the pool.
Evening: Free to explore the city, enjoy the pool or rest.
Day 3
Morning: Start the day with an international breakfast before departing at 7:00 am for a day trip to Portobello. Enjoy a catamaran ride to visit three beaches on the Caribbean Sea and have lunch onboard.
Afternoon: Return to the city at 3:00 pm and enjoy free time to explore, relax, or go for a swim.
Evening: Free to explore the city, enjoy the pool or rest.
Day 4
Morning: Begin the day with an international breakfast before departing at 8:00 am to visit an Embera village in the Panamanian rainforest.
Afternoon: Enjoy lunch in the village and return to the city around 12:30 pm. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
Evening: Free to explore the city, enjoy the pool or rest.
Day 5
Morning: Have a final international breakfast at your accommodation before transferring to the airport or onward travel (not included).

Know Before You Go
Minimum Needed: 8 people before April 15 2023 - If the minimum is not met by this date, all bookings will be refunded and the trip will be canceled. Once minimum numbers have been met, the trip will officially be confirmed.
Maximum Capacity: 18 people
Final Booking Deadline: April 15 2023
Weather Dependent: No - Although weather is unpredictable in this region of the world, if there is a disruption due to weather we reserve the right to adjust the itinerary as needed and will always keep the experience and customer safety first priority. Please note, sailing is part of this experience and we cannot control the condition of the weather or ocean. Plan accordingly based on your level of comfort at sea.
Difficulty Level: Easy - This adventure tends to be easy but may contain some elements that are considered challenging for some people. Day 2 can be a bit challenging if one is not used to sailing in the ocean.
Special Clothing Required: Swimwear, rain jacket, cap, sportshoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, light clothes. Note: The sun in Panama is serious, please plan accordingly!
Special Dietary Restrictions: No - We will try our best to accommodate most dietary needs if given enough notice
Extra Cash: Needed for tipping or extra spending. Tipping is not mandatory. If you liked the service, you’re encouraged to tip! If you did not, it is okay not to tip. 10% is typical. ATMs are available around the city. As dinners are not included it is expected to be spending $50 to $100 extra. We suggest to keep $150 handy for dinners, drinks, souvenirs, tips, etc
Accommodation: We’ll be staying in a 4 star hotel located in or nearby the Marbella neighborhood. Room types available are Shared Room with Double Beds or Private Room with Queen Bed at an additional cost.
Transportation: Flights are not included. All ground transportation to RY organized activities are included. This trip starts and finishes at the hotel in Panama City. You will be responsible for meeting us at the hotel and finding your way to the airport at the end of the trip.
Flight Booking Information: Due to many unknown factors, we do not recommend flights for this trip. Please plan to arrive at the hotel in Panama City by 3pm on Day 1. **IMPORTANT: Flights should not be booked until this trip has officially been confirmed**
