Beautiful, great time.

Such a beautiful and memorable experience! The picnic was so picturesque, as was feeding the llamas. What a wonderful time bonding and seeing magnificent Machu Picchu. However, if there is one Lima RY weekend experience you want to do on your own / try to find something cheaper, this might be the one to do that for, since there are other alternatives! You won't go wrong with this experience, but it's just a bit less unique than the other 2 weekend adventures offered by RY!

All the main highlights of Peru in one weekend

It's really amazing how much is able to be fit in in one weekend! They way they organize Machu Pichu is so smart, I thought it would be packed with tourists but it really wasn't. They time everything perfectly. Of course, seeing that wonder of the world is highlight, but also touring the salt mines and having lunch in the mountains with llamas and alpacas was one of the most beautiful afternoons ever! Cuzco is a city worth spending extra time in. I would definitely recommend going a couple days early not only acclimatize but to explore too, or stay longer to explore. There's so much to see.
