Machu Picchu By Train + Sacred Valley Of The Incas
We will be visiting Machu Picchu, one of the new 7 wonders of the world! You'll arrive by train and explore Machu Picchu in the morning. After having lunch we'll head to Ollantaytambo to check-in at the hotel. The next morning we'll be doing the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, starting in the ruins of Ollantaytambo. After that we'll enjoy a picnic surrounded by beautiful mountains of the Peruvian highlands. Then we'll visit the archoelogical sites of Moray and the salt mines of Maras. At the end of the tour you will get to visit the town of Chincheros to learn some of the textile and colouring techniques that their people have been using since the Incan days. You'll spend the night at Del Pilar hotels in Ollantaytambo. This is a tailor made trip for Remotes who will be able to make the most out of these two days and see several archeological sites and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley.

This Side Trip is for anyone interested in cultural experiences, beautiful landscapes, a connection with nature and history.
Morning: Early morning traveling by van and then by train to aguas calientes, the town right below Machu Picchu. Once inside the Incan citadel, there will be a 3 hour guided tour, after the tour the you will have about 60-90 minutes to enjoy Machu Picchu and get some llama selfies.
Afternoon: Lunch in Aguas Calientes and then travel to Ollantaytambo, where you will have time to check-in to your hotel and relax till the next day. You can also go to the town of Ollantaytambo, which is 15 minutes away and is the perfect place to try some delicious coffee or grab a beer and visit some really neat artesian galleries.
Morning: Tour of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Incan fortress.
Afternoon: Visit the archeological site of Moray, the salt mines of Maras and town of Chincheros.
Evening: Trip back to Cusco by van.
