Krka National park is a MUST! Just a short hour drive from split you arrive at the start of the park where the scene is already gorgeous. Petar is the best guide around and was so kind and informational the entire trip. The waterfalls themselves are absolutely breathtaking. We had about 45 minutes after the tour to grab a coffee, take photos, and look at the gift shop before hopping on the shuttle boat (which I don’t think was in the description) to drive 20 minutes down river to another town. The wine tasting afterward was very relaxing, but be aware, it’s not a full lunch, just some meats, cheeses, and bread.
A great and accessible day trip, followed by delicious wines! The winery is a great spot to buy Prošek dessert wine as a souvenir to impress and delight people at home.
Due to bad weather, I did not go to Krka with remote year, but with a group tour.
Krka is nice because close to split and providing a nice walk. But I preferred Plitvice (but a trip there is a bit more time demanding).
In Krka you have a nice path to walk with scenery that look somehow similar plus a great waterfall that you see from some distance.
I have not done the one tasting afterward, but I am sure it is a nice end to a nice walk.
Great tour! Knowledgeable guides that were very friendly. You get to hang out at the waterfalls for a little and the winery was really good. Great cheap bottles to buy too.
Lovely waterfalls and great day out
