Truly immerse yourself in the culture during your time in Palermo with Italian classes! These classes are for beginner learners. On demand, there's also the opportunity for private or small group intermediate classes. People interested will be tested before instruction begins to ensure there is a base level of understanding.
Teacher Introduction
Silvia started studying languages motivated by curiosity about what is new, and unusual in her everyday life, and by traveling and studying abroad, she experienced for herself how difficult it can be initially to take the first steps towards a new culture and language. For this reason, in my work, she tries to provide my students with solutions and tools to approach Italian while having fun, in a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere.
Simona grew up straddling two cultures. Over time, she became aware of how hard it is to learn a language without a method that engages us. She is constantly looking for approaches and activities that break down this difficulty and allow my students to learn while having fun, building unique experiences to learn the Italian language.
Know Before You Book
Beginner: The course aims to impart the basic principles of the Italian language at a grammatical and cultural level, to enable students to find their way around the city and fulfil their daily errands (shopping, asking for information, etc.)
Intermediate/Advanced: The course aims to broaden the participants' language and cultural competence. Students will be able to immerse themselves in the city's culture and breathe in its historically multicultural atmosphere.
Group Classes: 4 people minimum, 8 person max per group
2 hours intensive lessons per week + 1 didactic session of 1.5 hours at the end of the course (visit to one of Palermo's historical markets for practical activities)
Intermediate/Advanced - Simona - on request with a pre-class interview test
