This is an overnight trip to Paracas and Huacachina. We will travel for about 3 hours to this beautiful town. After getting ready, we will head over to the Paracas National Reserve to visit one of the most popular beaches in Peru called La Mina!! Then we will be driving back to Paracas to have lunch, check into our rooms and chill. In the afternoon (around 4 pm-4:30 pm) we will be heading to our surprise event! You can totally trust me that it will be unique and absolutely awesome!!

After that, we will travel together to Ica and eventually to the oasis of Huacachina, where we will enjoy the dune buggy/sand sledding activities!!

10/10 Weekend

This is by far the best side trip in all of RY. It was such an amazing weekend packed with relaxation, adventure, good food and great company.

This is the perfect example of an RY curated experience. It’s definitely not something you can jump onto another platform and purchase.

I wish I could do this every month. Shout out to Fran and Ari 🫶🏽

Don't buy the hype

If you don't enjoy a heavy binge-drinking, spring break-y vibe, you will probably not have a good time. There are fun activities, but it is certainly not a life-changing experience.

If you need to pass on one weekend trip in Peru, make it this one.

One of the Best Experiences of My Life!

This was the best of Remote Year. Well-executed, adrenaline pumping, with gorgeous vistas and so much fun! Do not miss this trip! Sand-sledding was on my bucket list and it was exhilarating. Loved every minute of this weekend, and it is packed with activities. Consider bringing a mask for sand, and sunglasses or goggles for the boat ride to see the penguins. Lots of the gringos on my trip got sunburned, so take care with sunblock. The surprise part of the trip brought tears of joy to my eyes. It was spectacular. Floating on life jackets (used as seats) was a highlight, too. Fantastic! Thank you, Fran and Ari! I will not forget this weekend!
