Visit one of the most secluded and most visited beaches in the south of Peru
Participate in one of the most amazing experiences you can ever live/enjoy. Yes, this is THE BIG SURPRISE! Beware: remotes dropping a tear or two is not a rare thing here
In the evening youl'll have the chance to go for a few, dance and party.
On the next day you will visit the hidden gem that is the oasis of Huacachina. Dune buggy rides, sand-sledding, fun, adrenaline and beautiful landscapes await!
This is an overnight trip to Paracas and Huacachina. We will travel for about 3 hours to this beautiful town. After getting ready, we will head over to the Paracas National Reserve to visit one of the most popular beaches in Peru called La Mina!! Then we will be driving back to Paracas to have lunch, check into our rooms and chill. In the afternoon (around 4 pm-4:30 pm) we will be heading to our surprise event! You can totally trust me that it will be unique and absolutely awesome!!
After that, we will travel together to Ica and eventually to the oasis of Huacachina, where we will enjoy the dune buggy/sand sledding activities!!

fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Don't wanna ruin any surprises so all I'll say is you better no skip Huacachina Reloaded if you like adventure.
This is a once in a lifetime experience and very good value for the cost.
Pro tip: bring more than one swimsuit, high spf sunblock, shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, 100-200 soles (in cash, including smaller bills for tips), a handheld fan and/or sun hat (it’s HOT), a lot of water, and if social media is your thing — a cute but comfortable “instagrammable” outfit for the surprise activity on day 1. I also recommend packing a sandwich, protein bar/shake or similar for the surprise activity. The itinerary says dinner is at 8:30pm on day 1 but we actually didn’t get back into town until around 11:00pm.
The downsides: the accommodations are a bit rough. Shared rooms are tiny with bunk beds and there’s hardly any space to store your stuff or get dressed. The rooms are so hot many of us got barely any sleep. Definitely worth it to just get the private room.
The other downside was for the sand sledding, we were told several times that it would be totally okay to go down without shoes because the sand is soft but after the last hill, many of us ended up with bleeding and blistered feet. Definitely DO NOT go sand sledding barefoot!
I personally had no issue with the dune buggy rides but note that if you get car sick or motion sick, you need to bring your own medication or sit this one out because the ride is very intense at some points. However it felt totally safe and the drivers were very skilled and professional.
Truly a unique and thrilling experience that I will cherish forever!
This is a MUST.... you will see a side of Peru that social media fails to capture, and you will do some pretty epic things. Don't miss this trip!
This is by far the best side trip in all of RY. It was such an amazing weekend packed with relaxation, adventure, good food and great company.
This is the perfect example of an RY curated experience. It’s definitely not something you can jump onto another platform and purchase.
I wish I could do this every month. Shout out to Fran and Ari 🏽
