The tour starts in Selina from where we will go to the San Antonio Metro Station, from where we will take the Ayacucho Tram to Miraflores Station, and from there the cable car to 13 de Noviembre station. On the way the guide will give us an introduction to the history of the neighborhood, and then we will start our walk along the nature trails of the Green Belt - Circunvalar Garden, one of the most ambitious projects to control the urban growth of the hillsides by means of a border of green areas and community facilities and from where we will arrive to the Cerro Pan de Azucar, one of the seven highest hills of the city, with a beautiful panoramic view.
Afterwards we will go down to the Pinares de Oriente neighborhood, where the community gardens managed by the network of gardeners Nuevos Horizontes are located; there we will be able to share with the gardeners and learn about their activities of planting and harvesting, composting and even cooking. They will tell us the stories of their process, and finally we will enjoy with them a snack based on the fruits of their own garden.
