Day 2: Mat Than mountain camping - Ban Gioc waterfall - Nguom Ngao Cave

Start visiting Mat Than Mountain. Located beside Nam Cha Lake in Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang Province, "Mat Than" (God’s Eye) Mountain is a stunning and mysterious natural wonder of Vietnam that captivates many visitors with its pristine and majestic beauty.
The most striking feature of the mountain is the enormous hole in its slope. This hole, about 50 m in diameter and 30 m high, gives the impression of a giant eye watching over the surrounding landscape.
12:00pm: We spend time here for camping and chill.
2:00pm: Check in homestay in Khuoi Ki village. This is an old village built by thousands of stones. Have lunch in the homestay.
3:00pm: In the afternoon, we transfer to Ban Gioc waterfall, one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights. The falls are 30 meters high and 300 meters across, making Ban Gioc the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country.
We can take the bamboo boat to reach waterfall.
Then we continue going to Ngươm Ngao cave, was discovered in 1921, and recognised as a national-level scenic landscape in 1998. This cave is a limestone one containing many coral and crinoid fossils. It used to be part of an ancient sea that existed about 400 million years ago.
7:00pm: Dinner at homestay with local dishes.
