Description

Embark on a walking experience that will take you on an emotional journey through South Africa's history, culture, and healing. You will experience a range of emotions, from joy to anger, laughter to tears, as you gain a deep understanding of how South Africa achieved a peaceful transition by implementing initiatives that bring us closer together, allowing us to appreciate each other's different cultures and backgrounds. This educational journey showcases how our people, communities, and leaders from different racial groups contributed to what we call today, The Rainbow Nation.

Meet Our Local Host

Siviwe Mbinda is the owner and operator of Siviwe Tours, a locally owned and operated tour company that provides employment and opportunities to local residents. Siviwe is also the founder of the Happy Feet Youth Project, which helps uplift local children through education, good nutrition, leadership, and team building.

Itinerary

9:30 AM: Meet your guide on the steps of Cape Town City Hall  and see the Nelson Mandela Monument.
Walk to The Castle of Good Hope.
Walk to the Arch Bishop Desmond and Leah Tutu Foundation.
Engage in Q&A discussions with the exhibition curators.
1:00 pm: End of the tour.
