With years of experience in metalworking, they are passionate about sharing their knowledge and preserving traditional craftsmanship. They will guide you through the process of making your own knife, providing hands-on instruction and sharing insights into the artistry behind the craft.
Itinerary
1:00 PM: Pick-up from your accommodation
Arrival at Da Sy craft village
Introduction to the art of knife making and safety briefing
Designing the shape of the blade and cutting it out
Forging the blade in the furnace and shaping it with a hammer
Lunch break (meals not included)
Trimming imperfections with a hydraulic cutting machine
Sharpening the blade using various techniques
Polishing the knife to achieve a smooth finish
5:00 PM: End of the workshop and drop-off at your accommodation
