Description

The Melukat ritual at the secret waterfall is a must-try experience when visiting Bali. This magical ceremony is designed to cleanse your mind and soul and is usually done in a water temple, but this trip will be done at a waterfall. You don't have to be religious to experience this, as it's a unique and memorable experience that will stay with you for years to come.

10:00 AM: Pick up from meeting point in Canggu
Trip to the secret waterfall
Changing into traditional Balinese clothing
Start the Melukat ritual
Change back into your own clothes
03:00 PM Return to Canggu

Weather Dependent: This experience is weather dependent. In case of heavy rain, it may be rescheduled for safety reasons.
Difficulty Level: Easy. The guide or pemangku will guide you through the ritual. 
Special Clothing Required: Traditional Balinese clothing will be provided for the ritual. Please wear / bring your swimmies 
Special Dietary Restrictions: This is not a food event, so make sure you have eaten breakfast before pick up or bring your own meal.
Extra Cash: Needed for tipping (Not mandatory: you liked the service Tip! You did not? Is ok not to Tip. 10% is good), additional services & souvenirs. ATMs are available in town. 
Ground Transportation: All ground transportation is included - 3 hours drive
Additional Information: The Melukat ritual is considered sacred by locals, so it's mandatory to be respectful throughout the ritual and to the people and the place.
The experience involves water activities, so expect to get wet. Towels will be provided at the premises. As part of the ritual, the host will instruct us to drink natural water a few times. You don't have to do it if you don't feel comfortable, or drink responsibly according to your own limits.
