fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Really enjoyed making and eating the fish ceviche and lomo dish. It was a fun evening with great people! It possibly could be better if it were held in another kitchen than the Selina communal kitchen, because some Selina guests wanted to use the facilities towards the end.
Luckily, I said something prior to joining and was able to have my vegan preference somewhat accommodated at the time. We made Ceviche and another typical dish that happened to be mostly vegan. The instructor made Ceviche for everyone and I got a vegan version which I didn't even know was possible, it was delicious and I had leftovers. This is a fun event to learn how to cook something new with others in your group.
Choji is full of life and is super entertaining in the kitchen. The meal we all prepared together was excellent and a super fun way to start off our journey right!
Choji is the best host and a talented cook. I loved everything from his playlist to his jokes, and especially the food. It was cool to learn about the history of both of these iconic Peruvian dishes (ceviche and lomo saltado), and also the techniques to make them great. (I’ll never cut a tomato the same way again!) This is a fun and delicious evening in a convenient location (the Selina’s common kitchen). BYOB and come hungry.
