DESCRIPTION
The beauty of Table Mountain, Lions Head and the Atlantic Sea Board coastline from the comfort of our kayaks is unrivaled. Our 2-hour Kayak Tour will take you along the stunning Atlantic Sea Board coastline from the V&A Waterfront, past the Green Point lighthouse, to the Mouille Point lighthouse before cruising back to base at the Atlantic Outlook clubhouse. Dolphins, seals, penguins, sunfish and occasionally whales frequent our Cape Town waters and while we may not be lucky enough to encounter all this beautiful wildlife on every tour, we can assure you that all your senses will be tantalized. Let’s go Kayaking!

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
Weather dependent - The guides usually make a call the day before or on the morning of the experience. If the weather is no good, they may need to postpone by 30min, or even cancel. You will be able to move to another morning.
Difficulty Level - Easy - Beginners are welcome and can be paired with someone more experienced if needs be
Special clothing required - Athletic - Bring along a windbreaker in case the weather cools down on the water as well as clothing suitable for getting wet and optionally a change of dry clothes for afterwards
Bring water
Lockers are provided to store belongings during the trip
Changing rooms provided
The sun can get very hot so please bring sun protection such as a hat and sun cream
Cameras and cellphones are allowed and storage space is available on the kayaks
Participants must be physically able to paddle and should have no known health issues
Tipping in South Africa: Tipping is not mandatory but everyone in the service industry (waiters, guides etc) earns minimum wage and rely heavily on tips. The general amount is 10% but you do so at your own discretion.

Jordy Zeelie and Shanti Stewart, who head up our kayak tours, are both talented athletes having represented South Africa in kayaking and lifesaving. Their passion for life and adventure is contagious, creating a tour experience that is warm, friendly, fun and memorable.

Jordy is a local and the co-founder of Atlantic Outlook. He rates this stretch of coastline in Cape Town for having the best conditions and most unique views of Cape Town, and he will be guiding your morning experience on the Atlantic Ocean.

Unexpectedly great

Ocean Life. 1st timer here, so the wobbly (instability of the waves) was scary at first, but once I got over that, it was really fun.
You will definitely still get wet even though you don't get in the water at all. But in March, the air was warm and the water was cool, so it was fine. We saw dolphins, seals, and a ginormous sun fish.
