It was an educational and enriching tour. Highly recommend.
The tour of BoKaap and Atlas Spice was great! Loved hearing about the history of the area and the people and then learning about how to use all the spices. Shaamiela's place was so quaint and it was interesting seeing a local's house and kitchen. She taught us how to make the dishes were we served and then we ate a delicious meal together. She made sure everyone was involved and talked the whole time about her life and her love for cooking.
Great cultural experience allowing you to learn about the history of the Bo-Kaap neighborhood and people.
