Art tour of Woodstock/Salt River and yummy lunch

Sipho was a great host and taught us so much about the art scene in the area. We walked all around Woodstock and Salt River working up an appetite as we snapped photos of the vibrant street art that's splashed around the area. Lunch was very tasty and we had fun learning about Naz and her family. Great experience to get to know a new neighborhood and eat local food.

Great Art & Great Food!

Beautiful trip walking around Salt River and Woodstock checking out some amazing street art with a very knowledgeable guide who was able to give us background on many of the murals we got to see. Followed up our nice walk with an AMAZING homecooked meal from Naz, I would do this again just to get more of Naz's food! She was so welcoming and had us laughing the whole time!

This was an excellent way to spend a few hours!

Amazing street art. Sipho knows so much about the artists and the meaning of the work. Lunch at Naz’s house and the work she does is meaningful and heartwarming. This was an excellent way to spend a few hours!

Great local experience

When a city has diverse neighborhoods, it's nice to highlight the attributes of a few of them. This is what the Salt River walking tour did. Petra's art gallery was a lovely, inspiring place. The tour guide knew his stuff well and lead us to what appeared to be some of the best artists' work in So Africa. Naz's food and baked goods were also quite delicious.
