A day to discover Dubrovnik might be not enough but it's a good place to start...

A day to discover Dubrovnik might be not enough but it's a good place to start. Walking the city walls is the best way to discover and enjoy this beautiful city.

The gateway to Dubrovnik was nice.

I liked to walk around the wall and the city.
To me, the free time we had in the city was more than enough to get a grasp of the place and see what I wanted to see. But some people planned more time there, and they liked to have more time to explore some place in more details.
So a great gateway, but plan ahead what you want to see there, as it might be worth more time (but again, for me the free time was enough and more would have been too much).

I absolutely love Dubrovnik...

I absolutely love Dubrovnik. Make sure you walk the city walls the views from them are amazing. Plus you can take a Game of thrones filming location tour if you want to. Make sure you go to Buza Bar as well, it’s super neat. I loved it.

No tour guide needed

I loved the city but unfortunately we were forced to spend almost two hours with a tour guide who was a lovely person, but was rather quite boring. I would have rather just been allowed to wander the town on my own. Most remote year people are well traveled and self starters and having a tour guide felt too confining. But loved the old town and made the best of it after we escaped the guide! If you are like me and don’t like your guides I’d suggest getting a group together and hiring a driver to take you and pick you up. It would be much cheaper.

Good day

Was a good day. Only recommendation would be to make Mostar and Dubrovnik a weekend trip rather than 2 separate days…long time in a van in one weekend
