Discover the beauty of the Cape Peninsula with a day trip to the famous 'Cape of Good Hope'. Your tour begins with a visit to the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach, followed by a drive through the Cape Point National Park where you can spot various species of flora and fauna, including ostriches, baboons, and whales. You will visit the Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Point Lighthouse, two iconic landmarks in the area. Take a scenic drive along the Chapmans Peak route and stop at several viewpoints for some breathtaking photo opportunities. End your day with a gin tasting experience.

Itinerary
07:15 AM: Pick up from your accommodation
Arrival at Boulders Beach to see the African Penguins
Depart for Cape Point National Park
Visit the Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Point Lighthouse
Lunch at a local seafood restaurant in Hout Bay (at your own expense)
Drive along Chapmans Peak
Stop at various viewpoints for photos
Gin Tasting
05:00 PM: Return to your accommodation

There is a scenic walk up to the Cape Point Lighthouse of 700m which is of moderate difficulty. Alternatively, there is a tram available to the top at an extra cost of R85

Weather Dependent: Yes & No - Although weather is unpredictable in this region of the world, if there is a disruption due to weather we reserve the right to adjust the itinerary as needed and will always keep the experience and customer safety first priority.
Difficulty Level: Easy - At your first stop you will be climbing over boulders to get close to the penguins
Special Clothing Required: Anything you're most comfortable in but please be sure to have comfortable walking shoes and flip flops as we will be walking on the beach, climbing over and under boulders for the best penguin viewing. Feel free to bring a swimming costume and towel if you fancy a brave cold dip. Please bring a change of clothes as your pants might get wet at the first stop
Special Dietary Restrictions: We choose from a number of different lunch spots depending on the weather all of which can accommodate your dietary requirements.
Extra Cash: Only at the Scone Shack where a Scone and a Coffee / Tea / Kombucha / Juice will cost about 150 ZAR (~10 USD). Needed for tipping (Not mandatory: you liked the service Tip! You did not? Is ok not to Tip. 10% is good), additional services & souvenirs.
Ground Transportation: All ground transportation is included.
Additional Information: You are only able to charge your phone in the SUV so rather ensure you come with fully charged cameras and phone or bring your power banks with. Penguins won't bite as long as you don't get too close and intrusive. Trust your guide and let them lead when you're in their environment.
