Description
We’ll escape the city crowds and heat to enjoy green scenery while rafting on Cetina River. We’ll first meet Stipe who owns a rafting company and his crew. They will take us to the village in the hinterland by the Cetina river where will be our starting point. He will give us introduction and explain all the saftey aspects of rafting. Then we’ll split into teams and raft down the river. Keep in mind it’s not wild white water rafting, there are couple of exciting points on our way down the river but you shouldn’t be intimidated since it’s not high level extreme rafting but more sutable for diverse group of people. After we finish with rafting, we’ll meet the Bartulovic Family and try their homemade food and products they usually sell at the Green Market in Split. Their signature local dish soparnik and one of the most famous dishes in Croatia - homemade peka usually are the highlight of the day. The Cetina River flows through a popular and beautiful region. Host Introduction
Mr and Mrs Bartulović are well known Remote Year friends. We are going to visit them at their home in the village Blato na Cetini. Best thing about that is that Remotes have been literally the only non-Croatians in that village since it’s definitely not toursity place. So Mr Bartulović sort of became famous in his village because of that. Trust me, he is looking forward to meeting you!
