Experience the beauty of Floripa from the sea in a Polynesian canoe with over 3000 years of history. Watch the full moon rise while canoeing in a Hawaiian catamaran canoe guided by experienced instructors. This tour is recommended for anyone interested in sports, physical activity, or enjoying the full moon from a unique perspective. Kanaloa Vaa values safe, receptive and equal spaces, with a sense of family, where everyone can share learning, responsibilities, help, cooperation, work hard, love for the Earth, and enhancing the Spirit of Aloha.

Meet Our Local Host
KANALOA VA'A is a Hawaiian canoeing school founded in 2003 and based in Florianópolis. They value creating safe environments for learning and continuous improvement with the safety of everyone involved as priorities.
Itinerary
6:00 pm: Meet-up by Arena Unimed by MUDE
6:15 pm: General canoeing techniques, Kanaloa philosophy, and the canoe set-up
6:20: Leave for the ocean towards Guará Grande Island or Hercilio Luz Bridge, depending on the wind direction
8:00 PM: Activity finishes at the same spot
PS: there will be also time to relax and contemplate the Full-Moon.

Special Clothing Required: Yes - The practice is barefoot, and all participants get wet to the knees to get on and off the canoes. Dress for physical activity appropriate for the weather of the day. Bathing suit under clothing. Windbreaker jacket or light jacket just in case.
