Description
Welcome to Buenos Aires! You just arrived and maybe you took Latin American studies in College or you mixed Argentina with Uruguay; either way, these few hours will be a great introduction to the city and its history. We’ll get together at the heart of the discussion: the Congress. With its majestic building and plaza, it is the stage for historic moments in our city. From there, we’ll walk through Avenida de Mayo, the beautiful - and very much alive - avenue that connects the Congress with Casa Rosada. On our way, we’ll learn about this country and this city. We’ll try to make some sense of the Argentinians and learn some keys to interpret the city better. After a short ride on the oldest subway in Latin America, we’ll pop up in Plaza de Mayo: the second piece on our Buenos Aires history puzzle. All this walking will probably make us hungry, so, we’ll head for some empanadas and parrilla in the traditional San Telmo. A great spot to close our adventures in the city.
